How can we help?

Reviewer URL & branding

How reviewer links are white-labeled by default, and how to customize them further.

Reviewer URL & branding

Every reviewer link Shortlistr sends out is white-labeled by default — no Shortlistr branding anywhere a reviewer or client can see.

The link

Reviewer rooms are served from a neutral host:

https://shortlistedcandidates.link/<your-workspace-slug>/r/<token>
  • The host is shared across all Shortlistr customers and is only used for reviewer pages. It carries no marketing site, no login, no Shortlistr logo.
  • Your workspace slug identifies your firm in the URL. It's lowercase, 3–40 characters, letters/numbers/hyphens.
  • The room token is signed and unique per room (or per reviewer, depending on link mode).

What's white-labeled

SurfaceWhat reviewers see
URLshortlistedcandidates.link/<slug>/r/… — no Shortlistr
Invite emailYour workspace name as the sender, neutral subject and footer
OTP email (verification code)Neutral subject line, no Shortlistr branding
Room headerYour logo, accent colour, and sender name
In-room footerNeutral "Confidential briefing room" line
Exported deck (PDF, DOCX)Your branding only — no "Powered by Shortlistr" badge
Search enginesReviewer pages are noindex, nofollow

Changing your slug

  1. Open Settings → Reviewer URL.
  2. Click Change slug and type a new value.
  3. Click Save slug.

Heads up: changing the slug invalidates any reviewer links already in inboxes. Only change it before you've shared rooms widely, or coordinate with reviewers if you do.

Slug rules

  • 3 to 40 characters
  • Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens
  • Must start with a letter or number
  • Must be unique across Shortlistr
  • Some reserved words (e.g. admin, api, pricing, r) are not allowed

Fully branded subdomain (Studio add-on)

If you want the URL itself to carry your firm's brand — for example rooms.yourfirm.com — that's a Studio add-on. We provision the subdomain on your DNS with certificates and a matching email sender. Contact us if you'd like to enable it for your workspace.

What's not white-labeled

Recruiter-facing surfaces — the app you're logged into right now, your account emails, billing receipts — still carry Shortlistr branding. The white-label applies to anything a reviewer or client touches.
