How can we help?

Import from LinkedIn URLs

Paste one or many LinkedIn profile URLs and Shortlistr will fetch the public profile data.

Import from LinkedIn URLs

The simplest way to bring a candidate in when you have their LinkedIn profile open.

How

  1. Open the role, click Import, and pick the LinkedIn URLs tab.
  2. Paste one URL per line. You can paste up to 50 URLs in a batch.
  3. Click Fetch — Shortlistr pulls the public profile data and creates a candidate for each URL.

What gets imported

Name, headline, current title, current company, location, summary, work history, education, and the LinkedIn URL itself. Anything not visible on the public profile is left blank.

Tips

  • The URL can be the canonical form (linkedin.com/in/slug) or copied directly from the address bar with tracking parameters — both work.
  • Re-pasting the same URL won't create a duplicate; it will refresh the existing candidate.
  • If a fetch fails (private profile, throttled, deleted), the row is marked so you can retry or remove it.
